A native Texan, Henderson worked construction as a summer job while a teenager and fell in love with the work. Over the years, his passion for the industry has given him an outlet for his creativity and dedication to customer satisfaction. “I will not sacrifice my integrity to get a job,” Henderson said. “Being honest and fair is a major priority for me.”

Those who work with Henderson agree. Don Dickerson, owner of a landscape construction company that bears his name, has worked with Henderson for nearly ten years. More than 50 projects later, he said their professional connection is still strong. “Ronny is extremely well organized and good at scheduling,” Dickerson said. “He has always had a high regard for the time value of his subcontractors. We’ve never had a situation with him where we’ve arrived on a job with materials not ready. If there’s ever a problem, we’ll get an early call, letting us know. Ronny is a perfectionist and I am too. Even if it means an additional expense to him, he’ll make sure it’s done right regardless.”

Henderson’s talents allow him to perform the preliminary project design work before sending the customer to his architect for final plans. “If you want to add a room or garage,” he said, “I can design and sketch the layout and elevation. This expedites the process and saves time and money for the homeowner.”

Interior designer Mandy Dreen, owner of Notting Hill Interiors in Frisco, has known Henderson for 13 years and worked with him on numerous projects. She can attest to his creativity. “Ronny is more creative than many architects I’ve worked with,” she said. “He is great at visualizing a project and knowing how to get there. In addition to remodeling and building, he has a lot of hands-on experience. He’s done all the aspects of construction and is familiar with the correct way to do things. He’s able to supervise subcontractors and won’t allow shortcuts because he’s so meticulous. His attention to detail is unmatched by anyone I’ve worked with. He and I both take a lot of pride in our work. He’s very trustworthy and wouldn’t put something in a client’s home that he wouldn’t put in his own.”

Henderson built a custom-designed 8300 square-foot home for Steve Richards and his wife, Shelby, in Frisco five years ago. After moving to Flower Mound, they contacted Henderson to make major changes to the 13-year-old home they’d purchased, including the addition of a pool, outdoor living area, a room for the Richards’ daughter as well as rehabbing interior bathrooms. “Ronny has such superb customer relation skills,” Richards said. “He has a terrific demeanor about him. He’s reliable and pays attention to details and deadlines. His finish-out work exceeded our every expectation. I suppose the proof of our satisfaction is our rehiring him to do a significant remodeling job for us. He’s paid attention to our wants and turned them into reality.”
